Pengertian Infinitive Phrase

Infinitive phrase adalah frasa yang terdiri dari infinitive dan object, modifier, atau object dan modifier (noun phrase). fungsinya adalah sebagai subject, object, complement dan appositive.

contohnya sebagai berikut:
1. subject: To travel without enough money is a bad idea.
2. object: I want to buy the book tomorrow.
3. complement: His dream is to visit the country with you.
4. appositive: His dream, to visit the country with you, has made him work hard.
